There’s a strong possibility that Forza Horizon 6 might be based in Japan, as suggested by a recent leak. However, it’s important to note that this information hasn’t been formally verified yet.
Following the launch of Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5, and significant job cuts at the Forza Motorsport studio Turn 10, anticipation for the upcoming game in the cherished series, tentatively titled Horizon 6, is growing. Microsoft’s Phil Spencer has publicly stated that we can expect
Ever since its debut back in 2012, I’ve been exploring some truly stunning locales in Forza Horizon thanks to Playground Games. Forza Horizon 6 Leak Hints at Japan
Originally posted on Reddit (and since removed), an Australian automobile importer named Cult & Classic shared a picture showing someone from the Forza Horizon development team inspecting Kei cars in Australia, potentially for inclusion in the video game series.
The tiniest vehicles authorized for use on Japanese highways, known as Kei cars, are seldom encountered beyond the Eastern regions. Given this geographical rarity, it becomes necessary for a member of the Horizon development team to travel overseas to survey and scan these vehicles.
To ensure authenticity, it’s essential to include a true-to-life depiction of Kei cars if the scenario is indeed set in Japan. After all, these compact vehicles are quite common on Japanese roads, so their absence might seem unusual. Moreover, their inclusion could hint at the possibility of acquiring them within the game.
While it’s essential to note that this isn’t an official announcement, given the frequent requests from the Horizon community, Japan could indeed make a fitting location for Forza Horizon 6.
Japan is well-known within the world of street racing, as it serves as the setting for the movie “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”.
