New Large-Size Battlefield 6 Maps Leak

Newly surfaced images hint at the expansive landscapes expected in the upcoming first-person shooter game, Battlefield 6. These leaked images showcase various stages of design for several maps, including fully realized scenes, works in progress, and aerial perspectives illustrating the vastness of these planned environments. The four distinct maps depicted in these images suggest that there is much more to explore and uncover for players in the upcoming game.

During the open beta testing periods for Battlefield 6, there was tremendous enthusiasm. Over a quarter-million gamers joined in to preview the forthcoming title, getting the opportunity to explore the Empire State, Iberian Offensive, Liberation Peak, and Siege of Cairo battlefields.

Battlefield 6 Large Maps Leaked

  • Firestorm
  • Manhattan Bridge
  • Mirak Valley
  • New Sobek City

As a diehard gamer eagerly anticipating the release of Battlefield 6, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for any updates. Recently, a Reddit user shared an exclusive sneak peek at four maps that weren’t part of the open beta – Firestorm, Manhattan Bridge, Mirak Valley, and New Sobek City. The attention-grabbers were undoubtedly Mirak Valley and New Sobek City, each boasting eight images.

Reports have hinted that both these maps will offer a plethora of possibilities for infantry and vehicle combat, whether ground or airborne. Mirak Valley, slated to be the largest map in the game, offers an expansive open space with a large perimeter area, while its central region is packed with smaller buildings. In contrast, New Sobek City seems to promise a lot of close-quarters combat with its maze of narrow spaces and numerous large structures to fight through or demolish. Can’t wait to dive in!

Additionally, you’ll find brief peeks at a couple more maps, featuring detailed close-ups of the contemporary Manhattan Bridge setting and a solitary bird’s-eye view of Firestorm, a map derived from Battlefield 3’s Iran campaign. Out of the four maps exposed in the recent leak, only Manhattan Bridge is new, with the others previously publicized by EA as suitable for both infantry and vehicular combat. Manhattan Bridge, however, seems to offer ample opportunities for utilizing Battlefield 6’s destruction features.

During the game’s beta testing, one common criticism was the limited size of the playable maps, all categorized as small or medium. However, if the recently leaked images are authentic, they suggest a significantly larger scale compared to what players have been used to, with the exception of the infantry-exclusive Saints Quarter map remaining unseen. Previous leaks have hinted at the vastness of Battlefield 6’s maps, such as Mirak Valley being at least seven times larger than Siege of Cairo, and another map, Eastwood, also in development for post-launch content, is expected to facilitate large-scale combat as well.
