It’s possible that Noah Centineo’s character Ken might be revealed in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, following last week’s sneak peek of Cody Rhodes as Guile on set. Although we only caught a glimpse of Guile beyond his iconic hairstyle, it was enough to excite fans. Now, thanks to Noah Centineo sharing a new picture on social media, we have a potential idea of what his character Ken might look like in the film.

The film version of the iconic Street Fighter, helmed by Kitao Sakurai (known for Bad Trip and Twisted Metal), commenced shooting this month. Following the announcement of a star-studded ensemble, including Andrew Koji from Warrior portraying Ryu, Aquaman’s Jason Momoa as Blanka, and 50 Cent as Balrog, there has been a mix of excitement and anticipation surrounding this adaptation. Although an official release date hasn’t been confirmed, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks on social media have started to emerge, even featuring Noah Centineo.

In a fresh snapshot posted by Noah Centineo, who plays Black Adam, we get a glimpse of his impressive physique inside his trailer. It’s hard to tell if his hair is real or a wig, but it’s styled long and dyed yellow. To add to the speculation that he’s playing Ken, Centineo tagged the photo “Road brawler”, hinting at the Street Fighter title. With Ken’s appearance in the games, there’s definitely a strong resemblance between him and the American counterpart of Ryu that Centineo portrays.

Absolutely, appearing the role and actually playing it are two different matters. Given Noah Centineo’s budding action career with The Recruit, he could be an ideal choice for Ken Masters. Nevertheless, it’ll be intriguing to observe if we get more set glimpses as they film Street Fighter in Australia. This fighting series has a history of adaptations, but fans are eagerly anticipating that Legendary’s version will prove successful.
