The initial worldwide spectacle for “Dune Awakening” is underway, and it continues until the significant update debuts on September 10th. This event has dramatically altered the terrain of Hagga Basin, with cliff-mounted turrets and sky-faring cargo ships being targeted from land by these structures. Successfully salvaging these airborne cargo ships will net you CHOAM cargo, a valuable currency that can be later spent on unique event rewards from the event’s vendor. Here’s a comprehensive guide to the quests included in this event.

How to Start CHOAM Salvage Rights Event Quests in Dune Awakening

Upon signing into “Dune Awakening”, players won’t receive any direct alerts regarding the event. To initiate the CHOAM Salvage Rights event, players should navigate to the Anvil Tradepost in Eastern Vermillius Gap. Upon arrival, you’ll encounter a new non-player character next to the contracts board who serves as the event vendor (representing CHOAM).

The merchant provides a variety of goods as trade for discovered CHOAM Cargo, salvaged from recently crashed ships. Additionally, there are three new tasks (jobs or assignments) that players can secure from this NPC by choosing the “What kind of jobs do you have for me” dialogue option. This gives players the ability to take on multiple tasks and initiate these quests.

Here is a list containing every task or assignment related to the CHOAM Salvage Rights undertaking featured in the game Dune Awakening.

  • Retrieve CHOAM Cargo: Loot CHOAM Cargo from chests inside either the cargo freighters falling from the sky, or one of the enemy gun emplacements.
  • Sabotage Kirab Emplacements: The map is filled with gun emplacements/turrets shooting up in the sky. These can be taken down by eliminating Kirab enemies surrounding them, and removing their plates with a Cutteray to deactivate them.
  • Make Them Pay: Kill 25 Kirab enemies, which can be found within the Western and Eastern Vermillius Gap regions, or near the newly added gun emplacements.

Don’t forget to spend your accumulated CHOAM cargo with the CHOAM representative or vendor at the Anvil Tradepost to earn unique rewards specifically tied to this event.
