An insider has shared a sneak peek of what appears to be Battlefield 6‘s most expansive map at its debut. Electronic Arts (EA) has been fairly forthcoming about the features of their upcoming shooter, but there are certain aspects they’ve endeavored to keep secret, only for them to find their way into public hands through leaks. It wasn’t long before participants in the Battlefield 6 open beta began disclosing additional details after the testing concluded.
The most recent installment in the ongoing Battlefield series concluded a highly successful open beta testing phase, with some fortunate players continuing to test the game. EA reopened Battlefield Labs on August 29 to make final adjustments before the game’s October launch. It’s not surprising that fresh information about the game began to leak as soon as Labs resumed operation.
Battlefield Labs Leak Reveals New Look at Mirak Valley Map
Leaked videos kept by MP1st provide a more detailed view of Mirak Valley, a map expected to be Battlefield 6’s largest at launch, although it wasn’t part of the open beta. The leaks offer fans a sneak peek into the map’s appearance and size, with the footage displaying numerous buildings, expansive areas, and various vehicle types, suggesting diverse gameplay and a larger gaming experience than what was previewed during the beta testing phase.

For some Battlefield 6 players who took part in the open beta, the expansive size of Mirak Valley might be a welcome change, as they felt the beta maps were too compact for 64-player battles. Although the new Battlefield has scaled back from the 128-player lobbies of Battlefield 2042, some early maps may have still seemed cramped even for matches with only half that number of players. Fortunately, it appears that Electronic Arts is providing a wide range of options in the full game, as leaked footage of Mirak Valley suggests a more spread-out, slower-paced battlefield compared to the smaller areas in the beta.

As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I’ve got some exciting news about Battlefield 6! From what we’ve glimpsed so far, Mirak Valley in the upcoming game seems to be a whopping seven times larger than the Siege of Cairo we experienced during the open beta – just imagine the strategic possibilities!
However, it’s essential to remember that things can still shift between the current Battlefield Labs build and the final game version. Fingers crossed for those additional weather effects some of us have been craving, but as of now, they don’t seem to feature in the footage we’ve seen.
But fear not! We won’t have to wait too long to uncover more details, with Battlefield 6 set to launch on October 10! Let’s gear up and prepare for an epic gaming adventure!
