Best Order to Get the Keystones in Hell Is Us

Following your journey through Act 1 of “Hell Is Us“, you’ll delve deeper into the main content of the game, where you’re required to collect the keystones needed to unlock the Lymbic Forge. However, unlike other aspects of the game, there’s no predefined order in which you should hunt for the remaining three keystones. This might leave some players pondering if there’s an optimal path to gather these keystones to minimize backtracking or to maintain a smooth progression that aligns with your gaming experience and time spent in the game. Having completed it myself, I’d like to suggest the most effective sequence for acquiring the keystones inHell Is Us“.

Best Keystone Order in Hell Is Us

In the game, you can gather the Keystones of Grief, Terror, Rage, and Ecstasy in any sequence that suits you. Once you’ve inserted the Keystone of Grief into the Lymbic Forge, Tania will provide three destinations for you. I found it most effective to first visit Jeljin and the Ministry of Cultural Primacy to get the Keystone of Rage, followed by a continuation of the questline in Talju to acquire the Keystone of Terror.

After completing these tasks, you’ll gain access to venture into the Acasa Marshes and progress through the quest by ultimately obtaining the Keystone of Ecstasy.

Ultimately, it’s your choice to decide where to begin in the game. During my experience, I followed the suggested order and didn’t encounter any sudden increase in difficulty. However, upon reaching Talju, I noticed that the toughness of the enemies you’ll face increases to level 3 (previously I had only encountered level 2 creatures when acquiring the Keystone of Rage). It seems possible that the game adjusts the strength of enemies as you advance in the game. Once we confirm this, I will update this post and inform you accordingly.

As a fellow enthusiast, I’d suggest following the sequence of destinations below to minimize any unwanted retracing of steps. Enjoy the journey!

  • Lethe – Ministry of Cultural Primacy
  • Jeljin
  • Auriga Museum
  • Talju
  • Marastan
  • Senedra Forest
  • Acasa Marshes
  • National Library of Lethe
  • Vyssa Hills
  • Plains of Mist
  • Lymbic Forge

In Act 2, you can consistently find the main adversary at the Misty Plains. This makes it wise to save this encounter for last, giving you ample time to enhance your weapons and optimize your equipment before taking on the challenge.

After acquiring the second out of four essential artifacts (the first among three to be discovered worldwide), the global situation will shift. Certain tasks, like Achievement of a Lifetime, Neighborly Affection, and Land of Abundance, if left incomplete prior to the global change, will not bear fruit. I won’t reveal what happens when these tasks are unfinished, but suffice it to say you won’t reap any benefits from your work.
