The most recent enhancement to the Nintendo Switch Online subscription plan now includes “Forsaken 64” for members subscribed to the Expansion Pack tier. Nintendo consistently updates its Switch Online service, providing users with fresh games to explore. To access every new game added to the service, one needs to be a subscriber of the Expansion Pack tier, as the Switch Online service is divided into various tiers.
As a dedicated gamer, I’m all about that Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription! It opens up a world of retro gaming goodness for us fans, with classics from the NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, and Genesis at our fingertips. And if you’re lucky enough to own a future Nintendo Switch 2, you can even dive into some GameCube games too! The recent update has just dropped another classic Nintendo 64 game for us to enjoy right now – talk about instant gratification!
With the recent update to Nintendo Switch Online, players who subscribe to the Expansion Pack tier can now fully enjoy the game “Forsaken 64”. First introduced in 1998, “Forsaken 64” is a critically acclaimed first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. It was generally well-received upon release and boasts a single-player campaign consisting of 22 missions across various difficulty settings. Additionally, it offers a multiplayer mode that allows up to four players to compete simultaneously on the same screen. Notably, “Forsaken 64” carries an M for Mature rating, which is not unusual among the classic Nintendo games available through the Switch Online service.

More mature-rated Nintendo 64 games have been added to the Nintendo Switch Online service, such as “Turok: Dinosaur Hunter” and its sequel “Turok 2: Seeds of Evil”, “Perfect Dark” by Rare, and “Shadow Man”. These games carry an M for Mature rating. It’s speculated that more mature-rated games might be added to the service in the future, although it’s not yet confirmed. While there are rumors about “Conker’s Bad Fur Day”, fans should not expect its addition any time soon.

No matter if additional M-rated games are included in the service, Nintendo Switch Online users can anticipate more titles coming to the platform soon. In fact, we have definite plans to bring at least five GameCube games – including confirmed titles like Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, and Super Mario Sunshine. If a Nintendo Direct event occurs this month as rumored, we might reveal even more upcoming games for Switch Online, so keep your eyes peeled!
