On September 5, an update for the game “Lost Soul Aside” was released. This new version brings about modifications in certain skills, non-player character (NPC) animations, and various aspects of the “Lost Soul Aside” mini-games, alongside other fresh features.
The action role-playing game titled “Lost Soul Aside,” developed by Ultizero Games based in Shanghai, carries a vibe similar to “Devil May Cry.” It was launched for the PS5 and PC on August 29, with PlayStation serving as its publisher. The feedback towards this game has been varied, largely due to the persistent reports about its performance issues, which seem to be more pronounced on PC systems.
Lost Soul Aside Receives Its 4th Update in 7 Days
Ultrazero Games has been working on fixing performance issues in the game ‘Lost Soul Aside’, with the latest update being released on September 5th. This is the fourth update since the game was launched, and it brings more adjustments designed to enhance the action RPG’s performance, frame rate, and reduce stuttering on PC platforms. According to the official patch notes from the developer, these improvements are targeted towards specific versions of Windows.

The most significant concern addressed by the latest update revolves around a bug that was stopping the Upgrade Menu from being unlocked. Although Ultizero didn’t disclose the exact cause of the problem, this bug has been effectively resolved and applies retroactively, meaning you don’t have to start a fresh game to enjoy its benefits-simply installing the new update should suffice. It’s worth noting that this issue reportedly impacted only a small portion of gamers, with the developers of Lost Soul Aside referring to it as “a rare occurrence,” although it potentially affected players on both PC and PS5 platforms.

The latest update alters the attack dynamics of Greatsword abilities, making them more reactive, along with enhancing the autosave logic for Chapter 4. The immortal frames of Kaser Roll have been adjusted to provide a more fluid gaming experience, indicating that it will now be simpler to execute the roll. The patch notes imply that the roll is now easier to perform.
Furthermore, the bosses’ balance has been adjusted across Normal, Hard, and Nightmare difficulty levels, and progression rewards have also been revised. With the introduction of new weapons, three skill points are granted, and higher divine gold yields are provided in more challenging modes within the Dispersed Dimension. Simultaneously, visual effects tuning has been implemented to enhance clarity during battles.
Apart from the major changes introduced in the September 5th update, players can also look forward to improved NPC movements, a fresh controller configuration option, and modifications in the difficulty levels of various challenges and mini-games. This upgrade arrives as Lost Soul Aside, which has been receiving varied user responses, maintains a “Mixed” rating on Steam and a 3.68-star average score on the PlayStation Store.
