The Delta Force game, now available on consoles, recently broke its record for simultaneous players on Steam, with over 213,500 users playing at once. This impressive achievement suggests a renewed surge of interest in the free-to-play shooter.
The multiplayer shooter game originally named Delta Force: Hawk Ops, developed by TiMi Studio Group, was first released for PC towards the end of January 2025. It later became available on mobile devices three months after its initial release. On August 19, this game was also introduced to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Delta Force Sets New Steam Player Record for the 3rd Time in 3 Months
Three weeks ago, I found myself breaking a new milestone as a fan of the first-person shooter, “Delta Force.” On September 6, via Valve’s storefront on Steam, an impressive 213,519 players were simultaneously enjoying the game – setting a new concurrent player record for us. As per the data gathered by SteamDB, this marks the third time in just three months that “Delta Force” has managed to surpass its previous concurrent player records on Steam. Just last month, on August 25, we hit an all-time high of 210,413 simultaneous players.

What’s Driving Delta Force’s Player Growth Right Now?
Throughout this year, a new record for simultaneous players often indicated the launch of a significant Delta Force update. But unlike other years, no such update was released this time. Instead, the game’s latest substantial content drop occurred in mid-July 2025 when Season 5 began. The recent increase in player numbers can be credited to the game’s release on various consoles, particularly because Delta Force allows cross-platform multiplayer between PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Delta Force Season 6 Coming Soon
TiMi Studio Group intends to sustain their current momentum with frequent content updates, starting on September 23 with the launch of Delta Force Season 6 titled “War Ablaze.” This upcoming season will debut a new Warfare map named Fault, along with multiple new weapons such as the 7.62mm MK47 assault rifle for close-quarters action and the .45-70 Lever-Action Rifle for long-range combat enthusiasts. Additionally, rumors suggest the inclusion of the F-45A Fighter Jet. Further details about Season 6 will be formally revealed as we get closer to its release date.
Speaking of related updates, mark your calendars for the 2025 Delta Force Invitational from September 19th to 21st. This tournament will bring together 12 teams hailing from 8 different regions, all vying for the distinction of being the inaugural Delta Force world champions. Interestingly, September 19th is also the last day for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to grab the Delta Force Immortal Supplies Bundle, a perk they’ve had access to since the start of the month.
