Similar to Diamonds, a Prismatic Shard can be found from various monsters, albeit rarely. From the player’s arrival at Floor 120 of the Mines, any monster has a 0.05% chance of dropping it. However, prior to this, only Shadow Brutes and Shadow Shamans could potentially drop the Prismatic Shard, also with a 0.05% probability. In Skull Cavern, Serpents and Mummies may also yield a Prismatic Shard at a slightly higher rate of 0.1%. Keep in mind that there are numerous locations for finding a Prismatic Shard, but each encounter relies on pure luck.
