Bilewater Map Location In Silksong (Bilgewater Map)

As a gamer diving into Hollow Knight: Silksong, I’ve discovered that Bilewater is quite the sprawling region – so vast it can make navigation tricky. Not only that, but the murky water teeming with maggots doesn’t help matters much. These critters chomp away at the Hornet’s silk, hindering our ability to use skills effectively and regenerate masks. To make exploring this treacherous area a bit easier, here’s where to find the Bilewater map in Silksong!

Bilewater is often mentioned as Bilgewater in Silksong, but the correct name is Bilewater.

Where To Find Bilewater Map In Silksong

As a devoted fan, I’d love to share a tip I learned during my journey in Hollow Knight: Silksong. You can acquire the Bilewater map from Shakra, but I’d recommend doing so post-obtaining the Faydown Cloak (double jump) ability. Before that, Bilewater is reachable solely from Sinner’s Road.

To reach Shakra, go right from the Bilewater entrance across the cage onto the next room.

As you progress, maintain your course to the right side but steer clear of the water. Be mindful as some platforms may be guarded by adversaries or equipped with ropes that could set off a trap if severed. Continue in the same direction until you find an opportunity to leap onto a cage, which will propel you upward to the higher platform.

Traverse the platforms laden with perils, leaping from one to another. Afterward, scale the walls to ascend, keeping your distance from potential foes as you go. Continuously avoid enemies during your climb until you reach a platform on the left side. The door in that area opens into the subsequent room.

Utilize the enclosure as a means to propel yourself towards the left side, continuing your path forward. The aim here is to persist in moving left until you begin noticing Shakra’s distinctive ring formations.

In simpler terms, Hornet won’t go beyond the path unless there’s a tunnel filled with Shakra’s rings above her. However, early-game players might encounter an issue because they need the Faydown Cloak, or the double jump ability, to reach the tunnel. Even if they somehow managed to leap up, they won’t be able to explore Bilewater further or access the next area without this ability.

Upon encountering the tunnel, it would be advisable to initially veer to the left and follow the sign that leads you to open the Bellway. Afterwards, you can find a bench to rest at in Bilewater should any unfortunate event occur later on.

Following a rest, leverage the double jump to adhere to the tunnel’s walls as you ascend, then execute another double jump, targeting Clawline on the right side to safely land on the platform, thereby avoiding the spikes. Subsequently, utilize the green bulbs for an upward traverse and scale the platform to the right.

In the interior of the building, you’ll find Shakra humming her familiar melody. Engage her for a conversation to acquire the Bilewater Map priced at 90 Rosaries within “Hollow Knight: Silksong”. Now, adventurers can delve into the previously overlooked areas and decipher the paths forward to the next stage.
