There are multiple endings for Silksong waiting to be discovered, adding an extra layer of replay value to the game, especially when combined with its Steel Soul (permadeath) mode. Once players have unlocked secret Act 3, they’ll soon find themselves venturing deep into uncharted territory. Here’s a guide on locating the Abyss map and how to navigate it in Silksong – from reaching the Abyss to finding an escape route.

The Abyss Map Location In Silksong

In the game Silksong, you’ll find the Abyss map situated atop the southern platform or ledge. Once you pass the checkpoint, look for an entryway leading upward, and then leap there. Afterward, move slightly to your left to obtain the Abyss map. As you progress, any regions that Hornet has uncovered en route to the platform will now be accessible to you.

It turns out that the Abyss map can only be accessed once players have navigated through the completely dark depths, which means unfortunately, it cannot be utilized until that point.

How To Reach The Abyss In Silksong

As a passionate cinephile delving into ‘HK Silksong’, I must say that navigating towards the Abyss isn’t a walk in the park. Once you’ve entered Act 3 within ‘Silksong’, Hornet becomes resolute on mending the calamity befalling Pharloom. To achieve this, she is compelled to trace the source of the catastrophe deep beneath, which propels her to embark on a selfless expedition straight into the heart of the Abyss.

To navigate the Abyss, Hornet needs assistance from individuals skilled at crafting a resilient vessel suitable for the voyage. Therefore, players should navigate to the Deep Docks, locate the Forge Daughter (represented by the vendor icon on the map), and engage in conversation with her. Once conversing, she will inform Hornet that the required assistance is from none other than Ballow, the worker standing nearby. Speak to Ballow within Silksong, who works beside Forge Daughter, and he’ll agree to lend a hand to Hornet.

Make your way to the ancient submersible and have a chat with Ballow to initiate your journey upwards towards The Abyss. If you haven’t delved into this area of the Underwater Docks previously, then you’ll need to embark on a lengthy diversion before reaching Ballow’s next stop.

I’ll descend into the submersible, venturing deep into the abyss below. Once there, my mission is to navigate towards the southern ledge, and I expect to come face-to-face with a familiar figure shortly after.

How To Escape The Abyss In Silksong

In the game ‘Silksong’, players initially need to acquire the Silk Soar ability to leave the Abyss. Once they’ve found a means to ascend, there will be a door located at the upper-right corner that can be unlocked with the Needolin skill. After entering, continue descending until you gain the Super Jump power, which will eventually allow you to exit the Abyss.

Upon acquiring the Super Jump ability, retrace your steps along the previous route, but keep an eye out for new paths branching off to the left. You’ll find a bench at the end of this path. I strongly recommend taking a moment to rest here, as the upcoming section of the exit is quite challenging and might require several attempts to navigate through successfully.

Before you start, it’s strongly advised to deactivate or disable auto-targeting aids such as Cogfly first, since these tools might accidentally attack necessary enemies for your platforming progress.
