In the game “Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition,” the mission titled “Myles to Go” can pose a challenge for newcomers since they might not be accustomed to navigating the game’s map yet.
In this tutorial, you’ll discover everything necessary for finishing this particular quest, such as locating the West Janpath Plains and besting the elusive Whimsical Duoguill.
How To Start Myles To Go In Xenoverse Chronicles X
Players should head to the East Gate located within the Administrative District of NLA. There, they’ll find Satie. She’ll assign the group with a mission called “Normal Mission Myles To Go,” which involves delivering supplies to a BLADE member whose mech (Skell) was damaged during a battle against a particularly cunning native species. The member is stranded as a result.
As a devoted admirer, I’m excited to share that Satie is going to equip us with a repair kit and a series of coordinates. These directions will guide us to the location of Myles, where we can deliver the essential supplies he needs to fix his Skell. Once repaired, Myles can safely return to NLA.
Navigate to your Map menu by pressing ‘Y’. Locate the coordinates slightly to the east of NLA. Next, search for Myles, as he is situated in the western part of the Janpath Plains.
How To Find Myles In Xenoverse Chronicles X Definitive Edition
Keep following the green hexagon symbol on the map as your guide, and continue moving westwards towards Janpath Plains. Once you reach the area, adjust your camera view to focus on a small plateau situated in the north-eastern part of that specific map section.
Players can locate Myles near his Skell on a highland with a scenic view of a lake, inhabited by various creatures. The players’ task is to interact with Myles and hand over the Repair Kit.
He’ll inform them that in a battle with a formidable beast known as the Whimsical Duoguill, his exoskeleton was injured. This squid-like creature can be spotted floating close to the lake shore if players look carefully at the spot where Myles is stationed.
Prepare for pursuing The Quirky Dualguard next! Be certain you’re securely fastened and have your finest equipment at the ready. Above all else: ensure your character carries both a ranged weapon and skills in Ranged Arts, and don’t forget to arm them with a Taunt ability as well, for added safety.
How To Defeat The Whimsical Duoguill
The Duoguill is a formidable Level 9 Mini-Boss, which might prove challenging for players at around level 5. However, with a dash of good fortune, players should be able to inflict sufficient damage, quickly defeating the beast and avoiding an endless respawn cycle.
A good approach would be to first use a Ranged Attack followed by a Taunt Attack to ensure that the Duoguill gets close enough to the rest of your team members. Given that the creature is moving around in the water and players can’t engage in combat while swimming, it’s essential to find a way to lure it out of the water onto the shore.
After grabbing the creature’s focus, you can easily subdue it if you heed the Soul Voices of your fellow players. Elma and Lin possess numerous useful abilities that can chain together, so make sure to seize these moments for optimal damage output.
After handling that nuisance of a creature, players should return to Myles to finish the mission, receiving 5,000 Credits, 110 Experience points, and the Makeshift Gauze Eyepatch as a Cosmetic Gear reward.
