Halo: Campaign Evolved is Adding One of the Series’ Most Controversial Features

While most modern first-person shooters include sprinting, it’s always been a bit of a debated topic among Halo fans. It originally appeared in Halo: Reach as a special armor ability and has gradually become a standard part of how the games are played. This has made Halo feel more fast-paced, which is a change from the earlier games that many fans consider the series’ best. Despite Struggles, Xbox Grew in One Major Market in 2025

Although the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One initially sold at comparable rates, recent years have seen the newer consoles fall behind. Microsoft reported a 22% drop in hardware sales for the quarter ending June 2025. At the same time, growth in Xbox Game Pass subscriptions has been slowing down for several years, leading Microsoft to stop sharing regular subscriber numbers. Faced with these difficulties and the increasing cost and time required to develop games, Microsoft has begun releasing some of its most popular game franchises on competing platforms, hoping to increase overall gaming revenue.

Even before the introduction of Xbox Live, the game was celebrated for its fun local multiplayer mode, made possible by the original Xbox’s System Link feature. An updated Anniversary edition of Halo: Combat Evolved was released in 2011 and is now included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC and Xbox.

In chapter 7, it was revealed that Yuka has a terminal brain tumor and only has six months to live. While her fate appears sealed, there’s still a possibility she might overcome this challenge in Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo.
