As a huge fan of Call of Duty and Ghost in particular, I am thrilled to see this iconic character finally get a long-awaited denim skin! I have been following Ghost’s journey since his first appearance in Modern Warfare 2, and the addition of this new cosmetic item is a welcome surprise. The fact that it’s based on one of his campaign appearances makes it even more special for me.

The iconic character, Ghost from “Call of Duty,” has been given a fresh look in denim attire as shown in a recent post on the game’s social media platform. A fan favorite, Ghost has graced numerous editions of “Call of Duty” games, most recently featured in “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.”

Simon “Ghost” Riley is a well-known character in the Call of Duty video game franchise, garnering significant fan following due in part to the popularity of the Ghost Stare meme. In the games, Ghost is represented as a lieutenant with experience in various elite military units such as the Special Air Service and Task Force 141. He is easily recognized by his signature skull mask which is a constant feature of his appearance. Notably, Ghost was one of the three main protagonists in the 2022 release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The official Call of Duty account on Twitter unveiled a snap of Ghost donning denim jeans in a recent post. To the delight of fans, this casual appearance translates into a new operator skin for Ghost, now up for grabs in the Call of Duty Store for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players. Some enthusiasts celebrated the arrival of this long-awaited cosmetic item, with one fan confessing they had been eagerly anticipating its release for years. Another fan was taken aback by the lengthy wait for the Jeans Ghost skin to be introduced. Various fans requested additional skins, specifically requesting new looks for Modern Warfare 3 operators such as John “Soap” MacTavish and Phillip Graves.

Call of Duty Operator Ghost Has a New Skin

It has been anticipated for weeks that the Jeans Ghost skin would be released, following its preview in the Season 4 Reloaded trailer. This skin pays homage to the appearance of the Ghost character from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Fans may recall that this was the outfit he wore in the campaign. The Obisidian Steed bundle, priced at 1600 COD Points, includes not only the Ghost operator skin but also the Obsidian Steed assault rifle, a large decal, an emblem, and a loading screen.

For “Call of Duty” enthusiasts, there’s much more to look forward to than just fresh content offerings. In an unexpected turn of events, “Call of Duty” revealed a partnership with WWE, unveiling plans for Season 5 collaboration. What adds to the excitement is that this isn’t the only rumored crossover event; whispers suggest that “Call of Duty” will team up with the upcoming “Deadpool and Wolverine” movie in the near future.

I’m thrilled about the upcoming additions to my gaming world! Not only are there new and exciting developments on the horizon, but the next installment of “Call of Duty” is also making an appearance. This time around, it’s “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6,” which promises to transport us back in time to the ’90s for a gripping spy adventure during the tail end of the Cold War. And let me tell you, the return of the iconic round-based Zombies mode is enough to get any “Call of Duty” fan like me pumped up!
