The Pokemon GO Fest 2024: A Global Adventure kicked off on July 13 as a two-day extravaganza. Similar to past editions, every Pokemon GO player is welcome to join the event for free. However, those who have bought a global ticket will enjoy extra activities and perks. In this year’s edition, global ticket holders can collaborate to accomplish a Global Challenge during each Habitat Hour. Two Ultra Unlock events have already been unlocked, and we are on the verge of activating the Ultra Unlock Mega Raid Day event. This highly-anticipated in-game event will introduce an eagerly awaited Mega Evolution in Pokemon GO.

Niantic’s Pokemon GO Twitter account hinted at the participation of Mega Lucario in the Ultra Unlock Mega Raid Day event, sparking speculation among players. With the revealed silhouette, many have identified it as Mega Lucario, generating excitement for the upcoming gaming experience. The Ultra Unlock Mega Raid Day commences on July 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. local time and continues until 5:00 p.m. that same day. Players have a limited window of six hours to engage in the event and potentially encounter a Shiny Mega Lucario.

Pokemon GO Teases Mega Lucario Ultra Unlock Mega Raid Day Event

Prior to the Ultra Unlock Mega Raid Day, there will be an event called Ultra Unlock Part 1: Better Together starting on Wednesday, July 17 at 10:00 a.m. local time. During this event, players can encounter new Pokemon making their first appearance, finish exclusive Timed Research tasks, and enjoy special bonuses, similar to Community Day events in Pokemon GO. These perks include earning double Catch Candies and four times the regular Catch XP from encounters. The Ultra Unlock Part 1: Better Together event will conclude on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

In three days, starting on Thursday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. local time, the Ultra Unlock Part 2: Strength of Steel event in Pokemon GO will commence. Niantic is set to introduce a fresh new Pokemon making its first appearance during this event, and lucky players may encounter its Shiny version. The event will conclude on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
