Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree - How To Get Bloodfiend's Arm

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent exploring the intricacies of Elden Ring, I can’t help but be thrilled by the introduction of the Bloodfiend’s Arm in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Colossal weapons have always held a special place in my heart for their raw power and devastating damage, and this blood-infused monstrosity is no exception.

In Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, there comes a massive weapon named the Bloodfiend’s Arm. Unlike standard weapons, this colossal club boasts immense power instead of speed. Consequently, it inflicts significant damage on adversaries and is particularly proficient in shattering enemy posture. Upon breaking their defense, you can capitalize on the opportunity with a critical strike for added effect.

This weapon, called the Bloodfiend’s Arm, holds a unique trait – it retains its capability to accumulate bleed despite being infused with a non-bleed affinity. Obtaining this weapon is guaranteed through defeating one of the Bloodfiends residing in Prospect Town, a new location within Shadow of the Erdtree. Recently, the weapon underwent a balance adjustment reducing its bleed effect, but it still outperforms other bleed weapons in the game. To acquire the Bloodfiend’s Arm, follow these steps:

Where To Find Bloodfiend’s Arm In Shadow Of The Erdtree

To acquire the Bloodfiend’s Arm, you must first travel to Prospect Town. You can reach this location by beginning your ride from the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace, and then travel north until you discover the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace.

Now, ride west from the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace and refer to the image above to circle around the large hill. If you stick to the ridge along the hill, it will lead you to the Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace, which also happens to be the general Prospect Town area.

Heading south now, keep an eye out for a shattered town with a crumbling wall concealed by black fabric. Climb the debris to ascend to a higher vantage point, then traverse the expansive, disconnected steps that lead you to the summit of the ruins. Upon reaching this spot, you’ll encounter a fallen pillar acting as a bridge. Employ the pillar to navigate the narrow, crumbling wall, and proceed westwards to reach the heart of Prospect Town.

In this location, you can encounter six Bloodfiends. One of these Bloodfiends has a chance of dropping the Bloodfiend’s Arm upon being slain. Additionally, there’s a possibility that the Bloodfiend brandishing a fork will let go of it when defeated, resulting in the acquisition of the Bloodfiend’s Fork.

The Bloodfiend’s arm functions as a potent weapon that is particularly effective with high Strength, yet also offers significant scaling with Arcane. The accompanying club bears the Ash of War called Endure, which fortifies your resistance to interruption and absorbs incoming damage. Nevertheless, for optimal usage of the Bloodfiend’s Arm, consider swapping out Endure with other powerful Ashes of War such as Royal Knight’s Resolve, Lion’s Claw, or Savage Lion’s Claw.

To enhance the Bloodfiend’s Arm up to +25 level requires utilizing Smithing Stones and an appropriate infusion. This weapon demonstrates superior scaling with both Strength and Arcane when imbued with blood affinity. Yet, if you aim to amplify its bleed effectivity, prioritize elevating your Arcane attribute preceding the enhancement of your Strength.

In addition to the Bloodfiend’s Arm, there are two more weapons in the game that belong to the Bloodfiend: the Bloodfiend’s Fork and the Bloodfiend’s Sacred Spear.
