Additionally, what was meant to be a standalone film for The Flash transformed into a chaotic multiverse event with questionable CGI appearances from DC’s legendary characters. Unfortunately, “The Flash” marks the end of an era for the DCEU on an unsatisfying note, with George Clooney taking the place of a more fitting conclusion.

The storyline of “The Flash” revolves around Barry Allen mastering his super-fast abilities, while dealing with the power to revisit the past and mend the wounds that shaped him. However, a minor modification in the timeline results in chaos, leading Barry and an out-of-retirement Batman, portrayed by Michael Keaton, to collaborate and thwart a Kryptonian invasion. This film seemed more like a Batman movie than a “Flash” one for some viewers, but others may appreciate this unexpected twist.

3 Joker (2019)

The Joker character in this portrayal undergoes a transformation from being Batman’s nemesis to an unremarkable comedian named Arthur Fleck residing in Gotham City. Through a series of events, which may include deaths that he comes to be associated with, Joker helps Arthur unearth his true identity.

2 Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

However, a powerful magical stone poses a major threat, with Cheetah and Maxwell Lord at its helm.

As a fan who appreciates a lighter tone and a dash of nostalgia, I found “Wonder Woman 1984” to be an enjoyable watch. However, some viewers might find it lacking due to its departure from the established backstory of Diana Prince in “Batman v Superman,” as well as its underdeveloped villains and an unwanted romance that feels forced and illogical.

The film elicits intense affection from some viewers for its portrayal of a disillusioned Superman and Batman in a society that no longer supports them. Conversely, others vehemently dislike it.

As a gamer, I can say that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is commendable for tackling the complex questions of who Superman truly is and what the consequences would be if an individual wielded limitless power without being accountable to a nation. At the same time, I found myself breaking my own rule as Batman, feeling compelled to take lethal action against Superman, even at the risk of his potential descent into darkness.
