Several Known Issues:

Players are running into a lot of different problems, but the game servers don’t seem to be completely offline. It’s unclear if any server maintenance is happening at the moment. When you try to start Skate, most people are encountering Login Queues – basically, they’re waiting in line to get into the game. However, many are being unexpectedly removed from the queue and seeing an Error message. We’ll go over the most common error codes and how to fix them below.

Currently, the servers are not down, just extremely overloaded.

General Server Overload:

Players are now running into a new problem: Error Code 852146987. This error means the game disconnected unexpectedly, and isn’t related to being idle. It seems the game servers are getting overloaded with too many players trying to play *Skate* at the same time, causing random disconnections.

This error can be hard to fix, because it might just mean too many people are trying to play at once, and the Skate servers are overloaded. Some players have found these steps helpful:

  • Restart Skate and try again
  • Restart your console/PC
  • Restart your router

A less appealing solution is to just wait and see if players have left, or if the game servers are temporarily down for maintenance.
