The consensus about the Silent Hill 2 remake by Bloober Team and Konami is generally favorable, and this positivity extends to the future projects in the Silent Hill series. Although some criticism was aimed at the remake’s trailer, Bloober Team, known for creating Blair Witch and The Medium, expects the game’s promotion will generate excitement for their upcoming games.

We’re confident in the potential of this IP and consider it a worthwhile investment for us,” Babieno shared, implying that Bloober Team was making a big entrance into the gaming industry. He further highlighted Silent Hill 2 as a significant achievement in Bloober Team’s evolution as a game developer, stating “Silent Hill 2 serves as a pivotal moment and the foundation for our upcoming games. Our industry connections are already familiar with it.”

As for Project C, it refines our approach and represents our next evolutionary step.”
Lastly, Babieno announced that Bloober Team was collaborating with “top-tier game creators for Nintendo systems,” sparking speculation about a potential horror game collaboration between the studio and Nintendo, based on the intriguing new character Emio they’ve been teasing.
