Highlights

  • Demon Slayer’s latest arcs focus on intense training for a showdown with Demon King Muzan, leading to dramatic confrontations in the Infinity Castle.

  • Shinobu seeks revenge for her sister Kanae’s death, while Tanjiro and Giyu vow to avenge Rengoku’s sacrifice against the powerful demon Akaza.

As a seasoned demon slayer and survivor of countless battles against formidable demons, I have come to respect the power and cunning of Upper-Rank Three, Akaza. His words may seem callous and cruel, but beneath that veneer lies a complex being with a deep-rooted hatred for weakness.

In the recent development of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba,” the demon slayers are rigorously preparing for a final showdown against Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji and his followers. With Nezuko having gained control over the sun, Muzan is more determined than ever to accomplish his long-standing desire of achieving immortality. The Hashira Training arc provides a gripping build-up to the eventual clash between humans and demons in the Infinity Castle arc and Sunrise Countdown Arc.

As a dedicated gamer of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” I can tell you that the Infinity Castle arc is an unforgettable part of the manga experience. This storyline prepares the ground for Muzan’s eventual defeat and holds our attention with its lengthy narrative. Instead of just assaulting Muzan’s stronghold, we witness the chaos as his most formidable lieutenants retaliate with their terrifying abilities at full force. So, if you want to dive deeper into this captivating series, be sure not to miss out on the thrilling events that unfold in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle arc.

Kaigaku Vs Zenitsu Agatsuma

Jigoro Kuwajima’s Disciples Engage in a Deadly Battle

Demon Slayer: What to Expect From Infinity Castle Arc (According to the Manga)

During the Hashira training arc, Zenitsu experiences a significant transformation following the arrival of a letter. In the ensuing days, he withdraws from others and pours himself into his training with unwavering determination. He hints at being driven to do something no matter the cost. Later, it’s revealed that his instructor, Jigoro Kuwajima, took his own life after encountering Upper Rank One, Kokushibo on a mission and Kaigaku joined the Twelve Kizuki as a result.

No matter what life throws at me, I haven’t truly lost until I’ve given up the fight. I might stumble and fall, endure hardships, or face accusations. But as long as my heart keeps beating, there’s always a chance for redemption. And I believe in that possibility. I carry on with unwavering faith in my ability to rise above adversity and emerge victorious.

Zenitsu was deeply saddened by Jigoro’s death since he was the one who believed in him when he was young and shaped him into the skilled fighter Zenitsu is today. In contrast, Kaigaku had once bullied and looked down on Zenitsu, leading to a long-standing hatred between them. When Kaigaku became the cause of their mentor’s demise, Zenitsu could no longer find it in himself to forgive his past adversary. The intricate background of these two characters creates an intense atmosphere for their impending encounter within the Infinity Castle. Zenitsu Agatsuma is the lone demon slayer taking on an Upper-Rank in the upcoming storyline, implying that if he triumphs, he could potentially earn a Hashira position.

Doma Vs Shinobu Kocho

The Insect Hashira Plans to Avenge Her Sister’s Death

Demon Slayer: What to Expect From Infinity Castle Arc (According to the Manga)

Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, keeps up a bright and joyful demeanor when out in the open, concealing her burning thirst for retribution within. Raised in affluence, she enjoyed a peaceful existence with her beloved family – her parents and elder sister, Kanae. However, their idyllic life was shattered on a fateful day, as their home was brutally invaded by a demon. In the aftermath of this calamity, Shinobu and Kanae mourned the loss of their cherished family members. Determined to seek justice, they joined the Demon Slayer Corps and rose through its ranks, eventually becoming Hashiras.

The Kocho sisters have always leaned on one another, their connection becoming stronger with each challenge they encountered. Regrettably, just as they seemed to have survived the ordeal of losing their parents, events took a heartbreaking turn. One fateful evening, Kanae Kocho unexpectedly crossed paths with the Upper-Rank Two of the Twelve Kizuki. Being alone, she was at a significant disadvantage and ultimately met her end at the hands of Doma.

From my gaming perspective, it appears you’ve got it wrong. In this life we know, heaven and hell aren’t real places. They’re just figments of our collective imagination. Even those who live virtuously can encounter hardships, while the unscrupulous ones seem to get away with their misdeeds.

Kanae valiantly battled against the Upper Rank Two, bearing severe wounds that proved fatal. Just as dawn broke, Doma chose to escape to safeguard himself, inadvertently sparing Kanae from being consumed alive. Shortly afterward, Shinobu arrived at the location. With her last breaths, Kanae implored her younger sister to leave the Demon Slayer Corps. However, driven by an intense thirst for vengeance, Shinobu disregarded Kanae’s plea and swore to make Doma face the consequences of his actions. Eventually, they arrived at the Infinity Castle, where Shinobu intends to encounter the Upper-Rank Two and avenge her sister’s death.

Tanjiro and Giyu Tomioka Vs Akaza

Akaza Faces a Vengeful Tanjiro Accompanied by Tomioka

Demon Slayer: What to Expect From Infinity Castle Arc (According to the Manga)

In the Mugen Train storyline, I team up with Tanjiro and his crew to unravel the enigma behind the unexplained demise of several demon slayers and civilians aboard the train over the past few months. To our surprise, we encounter Flame Pillar Kyojuro Rengoku, who assigns us this mission. The culprit is none other than a Lower Rank One demon, Kizuki, who uses his formidable Blood Demon Art to put his victims in a deep slumber before ending their lives. We manage to defeat Enmu, but are taken aback when the Upper-Rank Three makes an unwelcome appearance on the scene.

With Tanjiro hurt and Zenitsu lacking the ability to face someone as formidable as Akaza, Rengoku determines it’s up to him to tackle this dangerous demon solo. He puts up a valiant fight, leaving the Upper-Rank Three astonished by his exceptional combat skills and unyielding spirit. However, against the might of Akaza, the Flame Hashira suffers grievous wounds and succumbs to his injuries not long after.

You have a misconception about Tanjiro. I merely dislike the feeble. I scorn those who are weak. Indeed, the thought of weakness makes me recoil. According to the natural order of things, the weak are eliminated.

Tanjiro and Zenitsu witness a valiant battle by Rengoku against a formidable enemy, leaving them in tears due to his self-sacrificing act. This incident strongly motivates Tanjiro to locate Akaza and face him head-on. In the Infinity Castle, they encounter the Upper-Rank Three, fueling their fight with intense passion as they seek to avenge their fallen friend Rengoku. Meanwhile, Akaza is reminded of past pains that significantly alter his perspective.

Kokushibo Vs Muichiro Tokito, Genya Shinazugawa, Gyomei Himejima, and Genya Shinazugawa

The Upper-Rank One Faces His Biggest Challenge After Yoriichi

Demon Slayer: What to Expect From Infinity Castle Arc (According to the Manga)

Kokushibo, of the upper echelon among demons, is revered by many fearsome creatures in the demon realm. His mastery over a unique breathing technique and his swordsmanship, perfected through centuries, sets him apart from other demons under Muzan’s command. Only his brother Yoriichi can rival Kokushibo’s prowess as a swordsman in the Demon Slayer world. Yet, despite his formidable abilities, Kokushibo had never engaged in battle until now. However, this changes during the Infinity Castle arc, where he confronts Mist Hashira Muichiro, Stone Hashira Gyomei, Wind Hashira Sanemi, and Genya all by himself.

The Upper-Rank One, despite encountering formidable demon slayers from recent times, is expected to effortlessly defeat them. In this battle, Kokushibo’s buried emotions and remorse from centuries past will surface. However, revealing his human side may have severe consequences for the Upper-Rank One.
