During an conversation with GamesRadar, IO Interactive’s head of development Veronique Lallier expressed that creating the latest James Bond game has a natural and seamless feel during production due to their previous experience with the Hitman series.
“It’s going to be a very cool, very awesome project. I’m super excited about it,” Lallier said.
In simpler terms, “Hitman’s past projects have made creating stories about 007, an agent, feel natural for us.”
She went on to say, “It fits perfectly with our DNA narrative, blending in effortlessly. Everyone is truly thrilled about it.”
She was reluctant to reveal further details about Project 007 at this time. Yet, she expressed her excitement for future discussions on the topic of the game.
Title “Project 007”: This is a working name for IO Interactive’s upcoming game. In this game, you will experience an entirely new Bond tale. Get ready to assume the role of the iconic Secret Agent and go through the process of earning your 00 status, making this the first origin story for James Bond.
