As a devoted fan of both Pokemon and Crocs, I can hardly contain my excitement about the rumored collaboration between these two beloved brands! Ever since I heard whispers of Charizard, Gengar, Jigglypuff, and Snorlax-inspired Crocs in the works for 2024, I’ve been on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating more details.
A report suggests that a fresh lineup of Crocs shoes influenced by beloved Pokemon characters from the initial series might be available for purchase soon. Previously, Pokemon has joined forces with various footwear brands, including Adidas, ASICS, Clarks, Converse, FILA, and PUMA, to release collaborative collections.
The popular video game franchise, Pokemon, known for its massive sales, frequently joins forces with various brands and intellectual properties. In just the first half of 2024, it has partnered with New Balance, Oreo, Grand Hyatt, Uniqlo, Krispy Kreme, and many more. This year also saw a collaboration between Pokemon and Crocs, resulting in Pikachu-themed shoes, with additional designs anticipated.
In simple terms, four new Crocs Classic Clogs inspired by Pokemon from the first generation are expected to be launched in 2024. These include Charizard, Gengar, Snorlax, and Jigglypuff, which are well-known powerful Pokemon. Each pair of shoes will come with Jibbitz charms representing the characters’ distinctive traits and symbols. The price is estimated to be around $70 when they hit official Crocs outlets and retailers. These shoes, exclusively available in men’s sizes, will carry a Pokemon theme.
Crocs, one of the world’s largest footwear companies in terms of market cap, regularly releases collaborative designs, such as the incredibly cute Hello Kitty X Crocs collection that was launched in January. More recently, the shoe brand partnered up with Irish fashion designer Simone Rocha, streetwear label CLOT, and McDonald’s to produce limited-edition products.
