As a dedicated fan of The First Descendant, I am absolutely thrilled about the game’s upcoming content roadmap. Having played through the Global Launch and experienced the engaging gameplay, I can’t wait to dive deeper into the world of this action-packed RPG.
Several games will unveil their plans, or “maps for progress,” to keep players informed about upcoming features and the approximate timeframes for their arrival. For instance, The First Descendant has disclosed details regarding the updates that will follow the game’s official launch in August and December.
In each season, we intend to introduce substantial new content to ensure that players remain captivated and entertained throughout the game’s entirety.
Following the Global Launch of The First Descendant
As an excited fan, I can’t wait for the beginning of the official season when we, the players, will receive some delightful surprises! These treats include the opportunity to enhance our teams by adding new playable characters to our rosters. By embracing this experience and putting in some effort, we can unlock extraordinary new characters to strengthen our lineups!

In the game’s inaugural season, players will encounter a fresh character introduction: Luna, a new non-playable character (NPC) and quest provider. She’ll be among the initial additions, offering players opportunities for interaction. Alongside Luna, Valby, an existing Descendant, will gain an Ultimate variant. Additionally, players can anticipate engaging with a new Colossus named Gluttony and acquiring a new Ultimate Weapon and Skin.

The addition of new weapons keeps gameplay engaging and prevents us from growing tired of using the powerful Tamer machinegun. But that’s not all! In Season 2, players will encounter an entirely new feature – a Utility Companion. Picture it as your very own helpful sidekick or pet, which is quite common in MMOs and live service games.
