Where To Get The Horn Of Plenty In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance

As a dedicated fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series, I cannot express my excitement when I came across Demeter’s questline in Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. The depth and complexity of these subquests, particularly Demeter’s, really add to the richness of the game’s lore and world-building.

In “Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance,” there are several side quests that you can complete to access others with similar demons appearing in various parts of the game. One such questline is called Demeter’s Quest, which remains available in both the Path of Vengeance and Path of Creation storylines.

In simpler terms, Demeter begins her journey with “The Tyrant of Tennozu” as her initial challenge. After overcoming this, she’ll advance to a different part of the game where players will encounter a more formidable demon, stronger than those previously faced in the vicinity.

How To Start The Horn Of Plenty

As a seasoned adventurer with years of exploration under my belt, I can tell you that Demeter, the enigmatic character we encountered after completing the Tyrant of Tennozu, has a new hideout. Based on the intel I’ve gathered, her next location is in Shinjuku, specifically in a building situated south of the Shinjuku 3rd Block Leyline Fount.

In the southeastern part of Shinjuku, tucked away in a secluded valley, lies the elusive Chimera. To reach this mythical creature, start by returning to the initial Leyline fountain. Then, head southwest and ascend the hill. After that, continue on the path directly east. Be cautioned, as the Chimera is known to attack upon detection, so prepare yourself before venturing too near.

As a seasoned player with hundreds of hours under my belt in this game, I can’t stress enough the importance of taking advantage of every demon’s weaknesses to maximize damage and progress more efficiently. And let me tell you, Chimera is no exception. This level 50 demon may be powerful, but its vulnerability to poison is a golden opportunity not to be missed.

As a devoted fan of this captivating game, I’d like to share some strategic advice for handling the formidable foes in Chimera. While it boasts its unique abilities, our primary objective should be targeting demons that are resistant or immune to fire and electric attacks.

What Should You Tell Demeter & Rewards

Following your victory against Chimera, you’ll receive the Horn of Plenty as a reward. Make your way back to Demeter, who will inquire about offerings. You may respond with either “Offerings are essential” or “Offerings must be shunned.”

After finishing the mission, players will receive the Megami Talisman as a reward. With this Talisman, Megami demons can utilize the Magatsuhi ability called “Eternal Prayer.” This powerful healing skill restores HP, cures all status afflictions, and brings back to life allied characters, even if they have been knocked out during battle. “Eternal Prayer” is an exceptional option for players when confronting challenging bosses in the game.
