All Mods in Dying Light The Beast

The latest update to *Dying Light: The Beast* has reintroduced fully customizable weapon modifications, and players are keen to discover all the options and find the most effective ones. Many modifications activate under specific circumstances, like fully charging attacks or landing critical hits, so it’s important to consider these requirements when choosing upgrades for your weapons.

There’s a perfect mod for every situation and weapon, but feel free to try different combinations to find what works best for you. You can find these mods by playing through the story, or by exploring specific locations. This guide will show you the location of every Mod in Castor Wood and explain what each one does.

All Mods In Dying Light: The Beast

As a player, I’ve learned that you can customize weapons with mods in three main spots: the Tip, Shaft, and Grip. There’s also a separate system for Charms, but those work differently. Just a heads-up – not every weapon (besides swords) has a Grip slot, and you can’t always fill all three slots at once. But here’s a cool trick I discovered: if you put a Tip and Shaft mod with similar effects – like both being ‘Slaughter’ and ‘Slit’ – they actually *double* the power when they trigger, making your weapon way more effective!

Just so you know, mods can only be used on standard weapons – this includes even the highest-quality Legendary weapons. They won’t work on firearms or unique Legendary weapons like the EXPCalibur II. The best way to find mods is by exploring locations and finishing quests. However, we’ve also included a complete list of all the mods available in Castor Woods, with details on exactly where to find them.
