All 8 Stone Sigil Locations for EXPcalibur in Dying Light: The Beast

In Dying Light: The Beast, skilled players can discover several incredibly powerful legendary weapons. One of these is the long-sword Excalibur (also known as EXPcalibur II), which returns from previous games. To obtain it, you won’t just pull it from the stone-you’ll first need to locate and place all 8 stone sigils around the weapon.

Where to Find All Stone Sigils for EXPcalibur in Dying Light: The Beast (Locations)

In *Dying Light: The Beast*, players need to find eight stone symbols hidden around the map before they can get Excalibur (EXPcalibur II). You can find most of these symbols early in the game, but some are locked behind story missions. Here’s a guide to all their locations.

Stone Sigil The Void Location

In *Dying Light: The Beast*, you can find the first stone sigil southeast of the Monastery, close to the waterfalls. Look for a high platform and climb up – you’ll see a small opening that leads to a cave hidden behind the waterfall.

Go into the cave and defeat the enemies you find inside. At the end, you’ll discover some treasure, including a rare purple baseball bat. Keep an eye out for a small pond within the cave – you can dive into it to find the Void stone sigil hidden inside a deer’s skull (attached to its antlers).

Stone Sigil The Moon Location

The next stone symbol is close to where you just were. Simply leave the cave and follow the path to the right. When you reach the spot shown on the map, you’ll find a small opening that Kyle can fit through.

After going through the crack, you’ll find a secluded camp surrounded by trees with yellow leaves and a tent. As soon as you enter, look to your left – you’ll see a large stone marked with the symbol for The Moon.

Stone Sigil Witch’s Mark Location

The next stone symbol is close by, but you’ll have to walk around the mountain and follow the river into the pass east of where you found the last one. Keep following the path, and you’ll eventually see an old, abandoned cabin at the trail’s end.

The area will be overrun with zombies, and you can either fight them off or escape to the cabin. Once inside, be sure to take the Witch’s Mark stone sigil from the wall on your right.

Stone Sigil Sacrifice Location

Continue heading east, and you’ll soon reach a place where stone slabs are visible. To your left, you’ll find a small fenced-in area that you can go inside.

Once you’re inside, turn around to find the Sacrifice stone symbol on the central stone wall.

Stone Sigil Blood Location

Your next destination is the courtyard of St. Valentine Asylum. Go to the location marked on the map and look for a fountain in the center – you’ll find the Blood Stone sigil attached to it.

Stone Sigil Curse Location

To find the next stone sigil, continue north from the asylum until you reach the Memorial Hill of Heroes. Once you’re facing the memorial after arriving from the asylum, run towards the trees on your right – the exact spot is shown in the image above.

If you continue running through the woods, you’ll reach a small clearing with tree roots and a skeleton. You can take the Curse stone sigil from inside the skeleton’s mouth.

Stone Sigil Death Location

Okay, so to find the stone sigil, you need to head to the church in Old Town. But heads up – you won’t be able to get in until you finish the third main mission in *Dying Light: The Beast*, which is called “The Beast Within.” I just wanted to let you know so you don’t waste your time trying to get in early!

Once you’ve finished the mission, go to the church entrance and enter the small opening on the right. This will take you to the church crypt, where you can take the Death stone sigil from the angel statue on the right.

Stone Sigil Shadow Location

You’ll find the last sigil inside the Cave of Exiles. This cave becomes accessible after you finish the main story mission, “Some Like It Dark,” which is the eighth one in the game.

Once you’ve unlocked the cave, go inside. You’ll see the Shadow Stone symbol right near the entrance, next to some cushions and candles.

How to Get Excalibur (EXPcalibur II) in Dying Light: The Beast

Once you’ve collected all eight stone sigils in *Dying Light: The Beast*, you can head to the location of the EXPcalibur to claim the sword. You’ll find the EXPcalibur II northeast of the Monastery, on top of a hill. Just follow the marker on the map to get there.

Once you reach the area, you’ll see some rocky formations covered in vines. Use the first set of vines to climb up to a higher level on the rocks.

Walk around the hill to locate a path you can climb on the side. Use the markers in the picture above to help you reach the top.

When you reach the top of the rock formation, you’ll see a special area with a sword-the EXPcalibur-stuck in a stone. To summon an enemy, place all eight symbols at the ends of the star-shaped poles.

After defeating the enemy, you can try to pull the sword. It will take longer than picking up a normal weapon, just like in previous games. When the white circle around the prompt fills up completely, you’ll receive the legendary long-sword, Excalibur (EXPcalibur), in *Dying Light: The Beast*.
