Kandiaru intended for Jinwoo to become a host for Ashborn, the Shadow Monarch, but he misjudged Jinwoo’s strength. What Kandiaru didn’t know was that Ashborn had changed his plans and no longer wanted to possess Jinwoo’s body.

Rather than taking on another successor himself, he passed his powers to Jinwoo, who became known as the true Shadow Monarch. He also gave Jinwoo the Black Heart, which dramatically increased his mana and healing abilities. Already incredibly powerful, Jinwoo reached an entirely new level after receiving the Black Heart, putting him on track to become the strongest being in Solo Leveling.

However, the ultimate challenge remains Antares, the oldest and most powerful of the Monarchs, who serves as the final villain. While Jinwoo is destined to overcome Antares, this won’t happen within Season 3. Fans will likely see this final showdown in the last season of Solo Leveling, which is yet to be announced.
