In Palworld, you’ll find more than 100 distinct monster species inhabiting the landscape. Some monsters can be found in various locations, while others are quite elusive. To form a competitive team capable of taking on Rayne Syndicate’s challenging bosses, players must explore the world and capture powerful pals. Each team consists of five strong pals, which can be enhanced with their unique abilities. Additionally, players can equip weapons and armor to bolster their squad’s strength in their quest for triumph.

In the Sakurajima area of Palworld now accessible to players, you’ll encounter 24 new pals ready for battle and collection to expand your Paldeck. Some are elusive and demand time and effort to catch, while others may appear more frequently in groups. This guide will walk you through each of the Sakurajima update’s 24 pals, their locations in Palworld, their associated elements, and partner abilities.

Sakurajima Region — Day

In the Sakurajima area, you’ll often encounter many people or threats around every corner. Though it’s a relatively small region on the map, there are plenty of individuals to be aware of, as your safety may not only depend on avoiding these people, but also other hazards. During daylight hours, with birds singing and the sun up, these daytime entities will be more visible and common, making them easier to locate and deal with.

In Palworld, Alpha Pals and certain companions are referred to as elusive creatures that employ unconventional capture methods. Alpha Pals can exclusively be found at unique spots and boast impressive health points (HP) and superior statistics. Players have the option to either seize these monsters or defeat them, but they must subsequently endure a one-hour waiting period before they reappear. Alternatively, other special companions necessitate distinct approaches for their discovery within Palworld.

During meteor events, Xenovader, Xenogard, or Selyne will appear, with just one of these characters showing up per event. Players might need a bit of luck with random number generation (RNG) to encounter the pals they haven’t caught yet and avoid having them knocked out in battles. Blazamut Ryu is another raid companion that can be summoned, while Mimog takes the place of regular treasure chests throughout the map. Katress Ignis, however, can only be found in dungeons located in the Sakurajima region.
