Unlike other items in the game, this one isn’t lying around waiting to be discovered as you traverse the exotic worlds. Instead, it’s tucked away in a particular spot within Ward 13. The good news is, getting there isn’t a Herculean task.
Remnant 2 Cargo Control Key Location (& How to Use It)
In simple terms, the Cargo Control Key is hidden inside a locked chest located in Ford’s office, situated upstairs near the small workshop area next to the Worldstone. Players can access this chest once they have completed the tutorial and visited Ward 13.
As a gamer, I’d put it this way: When you begin playing Remnant 2, Ford hands you a flashlight. To unlock a crucial item, take a close look at the flashlight’s base. The code there is typically 0415. Keep in mind that this might vary in future game updates, but for now, enter the code into Ford’s safe to retrieve the Cargo Control Key.
As a gamer, I’d describe it like this: In Ward 13, I have to find the old freight ship by the dock. After exploring the Worldstone and exiting towards Brabus’ firing range, I encounter a fenced area with lots of shipping containers. Following the path beyond, I discover a blocked entrance to the ship. To unlock this room, I need to interact with the door using my inventory menu, where I’ll find and select the Cargo Control Key.

The MP60-R SMG is an excellent secondary weapon for a class like the Hunter in Remnant 2, especially early in the game where your choices of weapons are fairly limited. However, the SMG’s poor accuracy makes it ineffective at range, and its high ammo consumption makes it somewhat inefficient unless used with mods or other effects that buff damage.
