From a fan’s perspective, I wouldn’t call the Poisoned Hand my go-to weapon for causing harm to others. But, interestingly enough, this name holds some truth – it can actually poison enemies. Each hit infuses them with a tiny dose of venom. When this poison builds up enough, it amplifies the Poisoned Hand’s attack power. This effect can be combined with other items that share similar properties, like the Kindred of Rot’s Exultation and the Mushroom Crown, turning the Poisoned Hand into a formidable support weapon for enhancing my offensive capabilities.

From my perspective as a fan, I’d say: The Maddening Talisman’s grip isn’t the strongest since it remains in my hand. Yet, it dishes out reasonable damage. It performs admirably in PvE content, but truly shines in player versus player (PvP) battles. Each Ash of War attack it unleashes can deal massive harm to the enemy. Additionally, it has a significant chance of inflicting a heavy dose of madness with just one usage.

However, it has good scaling in both intelligence and dexterity, with a C and B when fully upgraded respectively. It deals decent damage, but other fist weapons can outperform it. The specialty is its sleep build up and the Ash of War, which deals bonus damage to enemies who are asleep.

Agile characters will greatly benefit from learning the Dryleaf Arts, as these punches can compete with the might of conventional weapons. The attached Ash of War is an essential accessory; it unleashes an destructive blast around the user, inflicting heavy damage on enemies and granting them temporary hyper armor while charging it up.
