How to Get More Healing Flasks in Flintlock

As a passionate fan of action RPGs and souls-like games, I can’t help but be thrilled by the intricate mechanics that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn brings to the table. One such mechanic that has caught my attention is the Healing Flask system. This essential item allows players to restore a portion of their health during intense battles.

As a gamer, I can tell you that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, much like many other souls-like games out there, relies on Healing Flasks to restore my health. I have a limited number of charges for these flasks, which get refilled each time I take a break and rest. Just as other games in the genre do it, Flintlock adds an element of discovery by increasing the number of Healing Flask charges through a particular game mechanic. Once you uncover this secret, you’ll be able to find more ways to replenish your flasks while exploring the game world. In this guide, I will reveal what that mechanic is and where to locate it, helping you maximize your Healing Flask usage in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.

How to Get More Healing Flasks in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

In the game “Flintlock,” players have an opportunity to obtain additional Healing Flasks by successfully taking over a hostile Hamlet. After defeating the Hamlet’s Leader, players can interact with the Coffee Shop Host within that Hamlet. This feature is introduced relatively early in “Flintlock.” The initial Hamlet for players to encounter is Port Solace, where Nor faces off against numerous enemies, ultimately battling Iron Crown, the area’s leader. Following Iron Crown’s defeat, Nor will automatically be transported in front of the Coffee Shop. Enter the building and search for the peculiar entity in the center of the main room. Press Triangle/Y after approaching this creature to initiate an interaction. After a short exchange, Nor will receive an enhancement to his Healing Flask, increasing its capacity by one charge. Once the Coffee Shop has been unlocked, it becomes accessible through “Flintlock’s” fast-travel system.

A single charge in a Healing Flask restores half of your total health. To boost your maximum health capacity, make a visit to Flintlock‘s Inaya Shrines instead.

Locating the Second Healing Flask Upgrade:

Once players finish the initial area, functioning as an extended tutorial, they won’t have to wait long before locating the second Healing Flask enhancement. Following your first gear upgrade with Baz, you’ll embark on “Defenders of the Storm,” the game’s inaugural quest. After mastering portal usage, you’ll encounter the region’s initial Lodestone. The second upgrade lies close by. Use these instructions to find the hostile Hamlet, Gavel Gate.

  • From the Lodestone, head northwest up the road towards the castle.
  • After passing a small house on the right, turn right and head towards the edge of the cliff. You’ll see a portal skull at the edge. Use it to reach the rocky area a bit out from the cliffs. Climb to the top and then look southwest to find more portals, which lead to the back of Gavel Gate.
  • Make your way through Gavel Gate until you reach Galen the Noble. Galen is a shield-and-mace-wielding enemy. He packs a serious punch with his mace, so make sure you enter the fight with as many flask charges as possible.
  • Defeating Galen the Noble will clear the Hamlet, even if there are lesser enemies remaining. Nor will automatically be placed in front of the Coffee house. Speak to the Host inside to upgrade your Healing Flask again.

The Hamlet/Coffee Shop mechanic is the only known way to
upgrade Healing Flasks in
Flintlock.

There are currently seven known Coffee Shops that upgrade the Healing Flask. Compete every Hamlet you encounter to unlock them all, upgrading the Healing Flask to its max level.
