Drawing inspiration from classics like Outlast and Resident Evil, the game places you in a precarious position where combat is not an option. Instead, your survival hinges on quick thinking and agility – either by fleeing or hiding, or utilizing clever gadgets to momentarily incapacitate adversaries.
In Maid of Sker, one remarkable feature is how enemies utilize their senses, specifically hearing, to detect the player. To progress quietly around these adversaries, players must be cautious with each move they make. They may even need to hold their breath to prevent alerting the fearsome creatures and faceless hunters lurking nearby.
