Where To Find Hornsent Armor Set Location
In “Shadow of the Erdtree,” there are different ways to acquire the Hornsent Set. One method is by advancing in the Hornsent’s quest, going as far as certain key points. The locations for obtaining this set include specific areas linked to the Hornsent’s or Needle Knight Leda’s journey. Initially, you’ll meet the Hornsent at the Three-Path Cross and receive a map to Miquella’s Crosses from them. Later on, they will relocate to the Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, where you can offer them Scorpion Stew. However, be prepared for unexpected events at the Shadow Keep.
At Highroad Cross, talking to Miquella after her charm is shattered results in a transformation. She becomes wary of those nearby and targets the Hornsent for vengeance. Consequently, a summon sign emerges in Shadow Keep, enabling you to aid Leda in combating the Hornsent or support the Hornsent against Leda. Should you side with Leda, the Hornsent armor set is yours upon their demise. On the other hand, if you align yourself with the Hornsent, obtaining their equipment will have to be postponed until a later time.
After helping the Hornsent in the struggle against a certain enemy, you’ll gain the ability to call upon them for assistance during this battle. Once the battle has ended, you won’t encounter the Hornsent again until you reach the final part of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. Your objective in this area is to get to the Church of the Bud. Before reaching the church, you’ll find a large room filled with corrosive liquid and red pests. There’s a long ramp that goes up to the Church of the Bud. As you climb the ramp, expect an attack from the Hornsent. Defeat them there to obtain the Hornsent Set and Falx, their distinctive curved swords.
As a gamer, I’d put it this way: If I don’t call upon the Hornsent to help me take down Messmer during our encounter, and if I didn’t aid Leda in her battle with her allies earlier, no worries! I can still find and collect the full set from the Hornsent at the end of that section. Towards the finale, you’ll engage in a fight against Leda and her crew. Once we’ve defeated them, the fallen Hornsent will be where I can claim the coveted loot.
