Though Layers of Fear gained attention, it was 2017’s Observer that brought them significant critical acclaim. Despite mixed reviews for Blair Witch and The Medium, Bloober Team remained popular with horror fans. Recently, with the release of both Silent Hill 2 and Cronos: The New Dawn, they’ve solidified their position as a leading studio in modern survival horror.
