It’s important to note that not all weapons lose their luster with advancement. For instance, the SOCR Outsider assault rifle is an exceptional choice throughout the game. Although it may not deal as much damage in later stages, it remains a strong contender for both PvE and PvP combat situations.

As a gamer, I can tell you that the SOCR or SCAR-H in real life comes with a powerful standard punch at a moderate rate of fire. However, the Outsider variant adds an exciting twist: each shot has a chance to deal Shock damage, which is essentially like landing a critical hit. This weapon is a game-changer and can be obtained even by newcomers in Once Human.

The SOCR Outsider is a purple-rarity weapon, and as of writing, its blueprint can only be obtained from Wish Machines, devices resembling arcade game cabinets. Wish Machines sell a number of purple (Epic) and yellow (Legendary) blueprints for weapons and armor, though you’ll need to get a lot of Starchrom in Once Human to purchase one of them. There’s a Wish Machine you can use in Greywater Camp in Iron River, though you can always make one your own after unlocking the Wish Machine memetic under Tier 3 Logistics.

If you’re interested in obtaining the SOCR Outsider blueprint, it will cost you 3000 Starchrom if you buy it directly from the Wish Machine’s Blueprint Shop. But if you’re a newbie, we strongly advise you to explore the “Make a Wish” feature instead. Think of it as a game where you whack moles to get rewards. There’s a beginner-friendly banner available with significantly lower Starchrom costs. Each attempt typically sets you back 500 Starchrom, but with the beginner banner, it’s only 200. You’re sure to collect enough fragments for the SOCR Outsider and some additional blueprints in this area.
