However, there’s potential for more direct comic adaptations within the series. The first installment kicks off in the 1960s, recounting Spidey’s origin story as it unfolds in real time.

Once you finish all the EMF missions in “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,” you’ll gain access to Peter Parker’s Life Story suit. This costume is a nod to Spider-Man’s space outfit from “Spider-Man: Life Story” comic series’ later parts. While it’s just a cool tribute, the Life Story suit in “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” could inspire an independent video game adaptation of the comic. Of course, such a game would differ from Insomniac’s series in several significant aspects.
