But none have left me as intrigued as the Abandoned Church. With a sense of anticipation tingling through my veins, I followed the instructions meticulously, every step bringing me closer to this enigmatic place.
In the expansive open world of Elden Ring, players assume the role of the damaged or “Tarnished” character, embarking on an adventure to traverse the vast game areas. By interacting with a withered arm, players gain access to the DLC. Paralleling the main game, various Churches can be discovered across the diverse regions in the Realm of Shadow.

How To Get To the Church Of Benediction
After reaching the “Main Gate Cross” Site of Grace close to “Belurat Tower Settlement,” call upon your spectral steed and journey southeast, adhering to the trail that clings to the mountainside. In due course, you will stumble upon the “Cliffroad Terminus” Site of Grace. Nearby, you’ll find “Prospect Town.”
Travel southeast past the many Bloodfiends, and you’ll come across what appears to be the end of the path. But, if you look closely to your left, there’s a path against the southern wall. Following this leads you to an ambush site for Curseblade enemies. These foes are best dealt with from a distance due to their high damage output and rapid close-range attacks. As you advance, drop down just ahead and you’ll be near the outer walls of the Church of Benediction.

How To Get To the Church Of Consolation
Upon reaching the Gravesite Plain, your journey begins with discovering the initial Site of Grace. To get to the next location, the Scorched Ruins Site of Grace, travel northwest from there. Along this path, you’ll encounter various Shadow adversaries and Rotten Stray Dogs. Keep riding your Torrent south on the main road as far as possible. Your destination is the Church of Consolation, where you’ll find numerous Mimic Soldiers and a Black Knight. The Blessing of Marika can be found near the church, just beyond the edge of the area.
If you find yourself facing too many foes and feeling overpowered, you have the option to call upon Spirit Ashes for assistance in this particular location. They will join you in battle.

How To Get To the Church Of The Crusade
On the Gravesite Plain, make your way northeast to discover the Castle Front Site of Grace, which leads to the entrance of Legacy Dungeon, named Castle Ensis. Once you’ve finished exploring within the castle, proceed to the Castle Lord’s Chamber where you’ll encounter Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight. After overcoming her, travel northeast to arrive at Scadu Altus.
Starting from the point of interest called “Highroad Cross Site of Grace,” go northwest towards the hill in the horizon. Along the way, encounter and engage with several Messmer Soldiers guarding the area. Continue on this path until you come across the entrance to “Church of the Crusade.” Inside the church, prepare for battle against “Fire Knight Queelign,” who will yield the “Crest of Fate” and “Queen’s Crossbow” upon defeat. After defeating Fire Knight Queelign, utilize the “Prayer Room Key” found in the “Shadow Keep” district’s “Church District” to interact with an NPC in his physical form.

How To Get To the Abandoned Church
To get to the deserted church, you need to make your way through the ominous Abyssal Woods first. Start at the Shadow Keep’s main entrance. In the courtyard, there is a Fire Knight and several Shadow Militiamen guarding. Turn left before crossing the bridge, taking the ladder down and passing under the waterfall. Interact with another hidden ladder to enter a room with a painting and an illusory wall. Go through the wall and touch the coffin at its end to be transported to Castle Watering Hole. Afterward, head southeast from the Site of Grace, following the Recluses River until you reach its downstream location, where another Site of Grace lies awaiting.
Near the wall’s side, consider finding several rocky ledges for descent towards the southeast direction leading to the sizable catacombs named Darklight Catacombs in Shadow of the Erdtree. These catacombs boast numerous levels and an abundance of prized items. At the catacombs’ conclusion, prepare for battle against Jori, the Elder Inquisitor. Defeat him to acquire the coveted reward and continue through the doorway, advancing into Abyssal Woods.
When you get to Abyssal Woods, your Spectral Steed won’t appear when you try to summon it because it’s too scared. Instead, you’ll need to walk through the entire woods on foot.
To reach a Site of Grace, continue your journey toward the South. You’ll come across several messages that you can engage with along the path. These messages are related to the Aging Untouchables, whom you will meet later in this region. Begin by taking the main road that branches off from the Woodland Trail Site of Grace and heads southeast.
Starting from the Grace, head southward. Disregard the agitated flock, they pose no threat to you. On your journey, you’ll encounter an NPC named Madding Hand who will attack you, but upon defeating him, you’ll obtain the “Madding Hand” (Weapon) as a reward. Further down this path, you’ll come across an Abandoned Church. Here, you can interact with a Site of Grace and discover another hidden to the north, concealed behind a structure.
