The Sims 4 Base Game Update Time
The new expansion for The Sims 4, named Lovestruck, is set to come out on August 25. Before that, there will be a free upgrade for the basic game available a few days earlier.
After that point, with no interruptions announced, The Sims 4’s next base game update is scheduled for August 23 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. This release will prepare players for the upcoming Lovestruck expansion.

What to Expect in the Next Sims 4 Update
During the recent live stream for the “Sims 4” Lovestruck expansion, the developers showcased the new gameplay elements set to be included in the game. In addition to this, they provided a preview of the content intended for the base game. Notably, these features will be accessible to all players at no extra cost, regardless of whether or not they buy the expansion pack.
Eyelashes
In an upcoming enhancement for Create-a-Sim, eyelashes will become a distinct feature with their own category in the makeup menu. This modification, which is part of the base game update, comes bundled with two sets of eyelashes at no additional cost.
New Hairstyles & Nails
Various hairstyles and nail polish colors and styles will be added to the base game.
“Apply to” Button
Players have the convenience of applying one or multiple articles of clothing or accessories to several outfits simultaneously. They can easily do this by clicking the “Apply to” button, which is situated next to each outfit, and selecting the desired outfits for application of a specific accessory or garment.
