Naruto: Kishimoto Has Officially Revealed The Strongest Rinnegan User, And It’s Not Sasuke

The Rinnegan is widely considered the most powerful Dojutsu throughout the entire Naruto series. It appeared in the later part of the story, as introducing it earlier would have created problems with the plot. The Rinnegan is a unique Dojutsu that can only be used by those who have reached a significant level of power, or if they are part of a specific family line.

At first, only a handful of characters in Naruto had the Rinnegan, but the number has grown, with Sasuke Uchiha being one of the additions. Sasuke gained the Rinnegan near the conclusion of the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Even though he obtained the Rinnegan relatively late in the series, Sasuke quickly mastered almost all of its techniques. Kurama was even surprised by Sasuke’s skill with the Rinnegan, comparing him to Hagoromo Otsutsuki.

Besides his fundamental skills, Sasuke is capable of using powerful Genjutsu on his enemies. He’s even managed to trap the tailed beasts using it, then employed Planetary Devastation to limit their movement. However, none of these techniques were as impressive as Amenotejikara. This ability is exclusive to Sasuke’s Rinnegan, and it lets him instantly switch places with either an object or another person. Thanks to Amenotejikara, Sasuke could overcome even the strongest defenses and dodge dangerous attacks. He could also strategically position his teammates for effective strikes. Despite all his power and expertise, there is still one character who surpasses Sasuke in strength.

Shibai Otsutsuki Is The Strongest Rinnegan User In The Series

Shibai Otsutsuki is a recently introduced character in Boruto: Naruto Next Generation. However, he’s not just a character – he’s widely considered a God. Shibai lived as the Otsutsuki clan did, traveling between planets to consume chakra fruit and be reborn through the use of Karma. Eventually, he moved beyond needing these things. He evolved to a higher plane of existence, truly becoming a God.

Consequently, Shibai created Shinjutsu, a technique usable without needing any hand seals. Removing the hand signs didn’t weaken his attacks at all. Legends say that even a simple wave of Shibai’s hand could summon storms, and his roar was capable of unleashing lightning strikes. Shibai possessed a Rinnegan on his forehead, suggesting he had fully mastered the Dojutsu. A character with such immense power would have threatened the entire ninja world. Luckily, Shibai has transcended his physical form and now exists on a higher plane of existence.

Ikemoto Needs To Restore Sasuke’s Status As A Legendary Ninja

Sasuke Uchiha is a hugely popular character in the Naruto series. He captivated fans with his compelling personality and impressive power. As a central figure throughout Naruto, Sasuke played a significant role and gained numerous strength enhancements, defeating powerful opponents like Deidara, Itachi, and Killer B. However, his role and circumstances have evolved in Boruto.

Even before the series began, people anticipated Sasuke would have a smaller role, but no one expected him to be treated with such disrespect. Ikemoto isn’t a poor writer, but their portrayal of both Naruto and Sasuke has been disappointing. They’ve diminished the characters’ most powerful skills, making them seem like weaker versions of their former selves. Naruto lost Kurama, a very close companion, and Sasuke’s Rinnegan was severely damaged. Fans are hoping Ikemoto will adjust their writing and show more respect for these two legendary characters.
