As a huge One Piece fan, I’m absolutely fascinated by the God Valley Incident! It’s considered one of the most pivotal events in the entire series’ history. It happened 38 years before everything we’re currently seeing, and it involved some seriously legendary figures. Eiichiro Oda has hinted at it for ages, but he’s been keeping a lot of the details under wraps – which, honestly, just makes it even more exciting!

The author held off on explaining the events of God Valley until the Elbaf arc. It was recently revealed that the grand prize of the Hunting Competition was Shakuyaku, who used to lead the Kuja Pirates.

It was recently revealed to One Piece fans that the God Valley Incident was caused by Shakuyaku. The former Empress of Amazon Lily was living on Hachinosu when she was kidnapped and held hostage by the World Government. Saint Figarland Garling was interested in Shakky and wanted to possess her. However, he didn’t anticipate that pirates would interfere with his plans.

As word spread about Shakky’s disappearance, pirates from every corner of the world rushed to the island. The Rocks Pirates were among the first to land, and their arrival caused significant chaos. This put the Marines, the Celestial Dragons, and the Holy Knights into a state of confusion. The Celestial Dragons were particularly annoyed that their activities were disrupted, with some demanding to carry on regardless.

However, the situation was about to escalate dramatically with the arrival of the Roger Pirates on the island. Given that it was already known Roger was interested in Shakky, his presence at God Valley wasn’t unexpected. Like many other pirates there, Roger intended to rescue Shakky and win her affection. Unfortunately, Silvers Rayleigh thwarted these plans, along with those of most of the pirates present. He swiftly defeated Sommers, reaching Shakky and freeing the former Kuja Pirate. This rescue led to a touching moment between Rayleigh and Shakky, officially beginning their relationship.

Davy D. Xebec Died During The God Valley Incident

Xebec Was Stopped By Roger And Garp

The story of the God Valley Incident is still unfolding in the manga, meaning fans can expect much more information to be revealed. A particularly hyped part of the incident is the fight between Davy D. Xebec and two legendary characters. Based on what we know so far, Roger and Garp joined forces because Xebec was a formidable opponent. However, we haven’t seen the battle animated or shown in the manga yet, leaving many questions unanswered.

It’ll be fascinating to find out why Roger and Garp chose to work together, considering their history as rivals. They likely wouldn’t have teamed up against Xebec unless he posed a direct threat to them. Another possibility is that the World Government twisted the truth, and some of what Sengoku said wasn’t entirely accurate. This leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

Although Xebec’s downfall is what most people remember from the God Valley Incident, there’s still a lot more to the story that fans are eager to learn. For one thing, people are really curious about how Garling found out about the members of the Davy clan. Oda also needs to explain why the Davy clan was almost completely wiped out, and who exactly Davy D. Jones was. It seems very likely that Davy D. Jones and the entire Davy clan went to war with the World Government a long time ago. Because the World Government won, the Davy clan and anyone who supported them were then hunted down.

After the memory sequence finishes, the story goes back to Elbaf, where Imu is now controlling Gunko’s body and causing chaos. Imu has already used magic to transform Dorry and Brogy into demons. These two were initially battling the Holy Knights, but they are now fully devoted to Imu. Things are extremely dangerous in Elbaf, so Luffy and his crew need to act quickly and help the people who live there. If they don’t, Elbaf will be ruined.
