The Reliquary of Resilience puzzle can be tricky if you haven’t seen it before, and this Ghost of Yotei puzzle involves a riddle and some spinning wheels that don’t quite do what Atsu asks. Don’t worry though – you won’t need to get frustrated! We’ll explain where to find the Reliquary of Resilience and how to solve the puzzle, so you can overcome even the toughest challenges in Ezo.
How to Find the Reliquary of Resilience in Ghost of Yotei
The Reliquary of Resilience is found in the Tokachi Range, north of the Yotei Grasslands. To reach it, players should follow the Nupir River upstream towards Serpent’s Pass. They’ll arrive at Traveler’s Rest, where a woman is being bothered by a ronin. From Traveler’s Rest, venture further into the woods. You’ll quickly see a hill you can climb. Continue along the cliffside until you find a climbable wall (see location above). Once you’ve scaled the rocks, jump and grapple upwards, then mantle forward until you reach the Reliquary of Resilience. Finally, approach the central altar to read the inscription:
Within the caverns of Mount Yotei, a lost boy surrendered to a tired sleep
The wolves stood guard
Looking toward the mountain
The riddle of the Reliquary of Resilience reveals the wolves were gazing at the mountain – which represents the altar. Therefore, to solve the puzzle, you need to position all four wolves to face the mountain. If you’re having trouble, we’ve detailed the solution below.
How to Solve the Reliquary of Resilience Puzzle in Ghost of Yotei
To solve the Reliquary of Resilience puzzle, you need to rotate each of the four wheels until all 4 stone foxes are looking towards the central shrine. Keep in mind that, similar to other Reliquary puzzles, adjusting one wheel will also affect another. Therefore, you’ll have to follow a particular sequence, which we’ve provided below:
- Move the front left wheel once
- Move the back left wheel twice
- Move the front left wheel once
- Move the front right wheel twice
- Move the back right wheel twice

So, I finally finished the Reliquary of Resilience, and it was totally worth it! I got another upgrade for my Charm of Mount Yotei, which is awesome, and I also unlocked the Yotei’s Shelter Hat – a cool new hat to wear! I’m really enjoying collecting all the gear.
