Having spent countless hours on the PC version, I’ve witnessed the game evolve from a rough diamond into a polished gem, with over 220,000 reviews on Steam and a ‘very positive’ review badge to show for it.
After a 12-year-long development process, 7 Days To Die is preparing for its official 1.0 launch, having spent the last few years in early access. Boasting over 220,000 reviews and a ‘very positive’ rating on Steam, this survival game will soon be accessible to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users. The upcoming release marks the console relaunch of 7 Days To Die as well.
I’ve been a long-time fan of survival games, and 7 Days To Die has always been one of my favorites. I remember back when The Fun Pimps first announced their PC version of this post-apocalyptic sandbox game. Excited as I was, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment knowing that I wouldn’t be able to play it on my console due to licensing agreements.
After a six-year wait, 7 Days To Die is coming out with a new release on consoles today. The developers, Fun Pimps, have announced that the earlier Telltale Games version of this game will no longer be available for purchase on PlayStation and Microsoft stores to prevent any confusion between editions. However, those who already own the old edition can continue playing it.
For the excited fans looking forward to the 1.0 release and console debut of 7 Days To Die, here’s what you should be aware of.
