For around two weeks, the Epic Games Store provided two free offerings rather than one. The games up for grabs during the period from July 18 to July 25 were “Arcade Paradise” and “Maid of Sker.” Since then, these two Epic Games Store freebies have been succeeded by a unique Outfits Pack for “Olympics GO! Paris 2024” and the critically acclaimed Metroidvania title “FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch.” The latter game, which received overwhelmingly positive reviews upon its release and is considered one of the top Metroidvanias released in recent years, makes an excellent addition to the Epic Games Store’s giveaways.
Until August 1 at 10:00am Central Time, Epic Games Store users can obtain the exclusive Olympics GO! Paris 2024 outfits and FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch as parting gifts. After this date, these items will be swapped for Lumbearjack, which becomes the free game on offer from August 1 to August 8. Although professional critics have yet to review Lumbearjack extensively, it boasts a favorable “Very Positive” rating on Steam. Obtaining this game through the Epic Games Store comes with no strings attached, making it a worthwhile addition to any digital library, regardless of prior familiarity.

For a week, you can obtain Lumbearjack for free from the Epic Games Store. After that, another game, with possibly different genres, budgets, or scopes, will take its place.
