As a long-time fan of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, I’m thrilled to hear the latest rumor about GTA 5 possibly returning to Xbox’s PC Game Pass. Having played this game extensively on both console and PC, I can attest to its immersive open-world experience and endless hours of replayability.
Based on a recent report from Tez2 on Twitter, it’s speculated that Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) will eventually be added to PC Game Pass by Rockstar Games.
“Xbox’s PC Game Pass will soon allow users to play GTA 5, which is being prepared for this release by Rockstar Games,” was one way to paraphrase the original statement.

Previously, the game could be played on Xbox Game Pass. However, it got eliminated from the platform around six months after its introduction. The explanation behind why it was deleted remains a mystery. Simultaneously, the title disappeared from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
There’s no mention in the rumor if GTA 5 would return to Xbox Game Pass for console owners.
