Overwatch 2 Reveals Season 19 Battle Pass Skins and More

I’m so hyped for Overwatch 2‘s Season 19, Haunted Masquerade! It looks amazing – they’re giving us a fresh Battle Pass packed with spooky skins, and a totally new Halloween event called Haunted Masquerade. Plus, they’re adding new heroes, gadgets, and stuff to the Stadium map. It all drops on October 14th, and I can’t wait to jump in!

As Season 18 ends, *Overwatch 2* is getting ready for its next update, which will coincide with Halloween. The game has a tradition of celebrating Halloween with themed events, including special game modes and unique character skins.

Season 19 of *Overwatch 2* is here, and it’s full of spooky fun! The highlight is a new game mode called The Haunted Masquerade. In this mode, players can wear masks that transform them into other heroes, giving them unique abilities. Choosing a mask that connects to your hero’s story – like Reinhardt and Brigitte, who have a special relationship – gives you even more power and reveals interesting details about the characters’ backgrounds.

Okay, so I’m super excited because Haunted Masquerade is dropping in Overwatch alongside the other Halloween modes like Junkenstein’s Revenge and Wrath of the Bride! It all kicks off on October 14th and runs until November 2nd, so I’ve got a little over two weeks to play them all.

Get ready for a new Battle Pass! This season features awesome Halloween-themed skins for your favorite heroes, like Vampire Moira, Ninja Sombra, and Cursed Teddy Zenyatta. Plus, two new Mythic skins – Divine Druid Lifeweaver and Kiriko’s Spirit Keeper – will be available in the *Overwatch 2* store. If you’re saving up Mythic Prisms, you might want to hold onto them a bit longer, as Mythic Cyber Fuel Junkrat is coming mid-Season 19. Keep an eye out for rotating Legendary skins – Archangel on October 14th and Folklore starting October 28th.

Overwatch 2’s Stadium game mode is receiving some significant updates. Players will now be able to play as Torbjorn, Hazard, and Sojourn in Stadium. The Armory is also getting a big improvement, with features like search functions and organized build sections. You’ll also be able to customize on-screen text to show real-time damage and healing numbers. Finally, a new type of item called Gadgets is being added, offering new strategic options and helpful abilities during matches.

A highlight of Overwatch 2’s Season 19 will be the reveal of a brand new hero! A short sneak peek of her appeared at the end of the season trailer. We’ll also get a chance to try out this character – who many believe is a melee fighter nicknamed the “Wolf of Retribution” – sometime during the season, probably with the mid-season update. Players won’t have to wait long to discover who she is and how she plays.
