Just last week, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds celebrated the addition of Steve, Alex, and the Creeper from Minecraft to its playable characters – and the collaboration is surprisingly well-executed.
This festival is open to all players, even though there’s a paid downloadable content pack available. It will be running from 7:00 PM CST on October 9th, 2025, and will end at 6:59 PM CST on October 12th, 2025 – just like the previous event, it’s only available for the weekend.
It’s definitely worth making the most of your time at this festival. It’s a really effective way to progress in the game, and you’ll actually get better rewards than you did at the Miku Festival.
The previous festival offered 60 tickets for every 100 points earned. This time, you’ll get 80 tickets for the same amount of points, so aim to score as high as possible!
How To Participate

If you’re new to the festival, you can join by switching to Online mode. You’ll receive a message from Dodon Pa explaining what’s happening and how to participate.
After that, you can join Festival mode. You’ll be placed on a team – either Ghast, Zombie, or Enderman – with three other players. These teammates will be from your squad, or randomly selected players.
I strongly suggest playing with friends or a team. It’s easy to get stuck in a bad situation if your teammates aren’t communicating, particularly in certain game modes.

You’ll compete in one of three modes: Tap Boost, which involves bumping into your teammates; Spin Drift, where you use a special skill; or Item Attacks, where the goal is to hit opponents with items.
The festival’s gameplay changes every thirty minutes, switching between Tap Boost and another mode. Remember to adjust your equipment to match!
Completing the main goal in this game mode gives you 10 bonus points, which usually determines the winner. While you can also try to get the highest score with your team, focusing on completing the objective is a much more reliable path to victory.
Festival Rewards
Now for what you’re here for, here’s everything you can get by earning points.
You’ll receive points based on how well you perform and your final score, so aim for a good result to earn them quickly.
- 20 Points: Decal – Steve
- 40 Points: 20 Tickets
- 60 Points: 20 Tickets
- 80 Points: Decal – Creeper
- 100 Points: 30 Tickets
- 120 Points: 30 Tickets
- 140 Points: Gadget – Power Character Kit
- 170 Points: 30 Tickets
- 200 Points: 30 Tickets
- 250 Points: Decal – Ghast
- 300 Points: 50 Tickets
- 350 Points: Decal – Diamond Sword
- 400 Points: 50 Tickets
- 450 Points: Horn – Goat Horn
- 500 Points: 50 Tickets
- 600 Points: Decal – Alex
- 700 Points: 80 Tickets
- 800 Points: Decal – Ender Dragon
- 900 Points: 80 Tickets
- 1000 Points: Title – We Need To Dig Deeper
Once you earn 1000 points, you’ll receive 80 tickets each time you gain another 100 points. If your team is skilled, you can earn 100 points in just 2 or 3 races, making this a good way to earn extra money for character skins.
If your team wins first place two times in a row, you’ll receive the “This Boat Has Wheels” reward. You also get the “Minecraft Festival” title simply for taking part in the event.
Achieving a top 1000, top 100, or even top 10 ranking in the worldwide festival standings earns you a special recognition. However, it takes a huge amount of dedicated effort, so it’s probably not worth the grind for most players.
Loadouts
Each game mode has different goals, so it’s best to use a specific set of gadgets for each one. I’ve shared my preferred setups for the current festival’s modes, but don’t hesitate to customize them to fit your playstyle.
- For Tap Boost, I decided to run with something I found worked really well, which is, of course, Collision Boost, then combine that with Extended Slipstream and Slipstream Bounty for a build that lets you easily catch up to your teammates.
- For Spin Drift, for the love of god, equip Spin Drift and don’t be the loser that contributes absolutely nothing. Outside of that, Collision Boost is nice, alongside focusing on power if you don’t want to slow down.
- For Item Attacks, I flip-flopped between a few options, but Attack Item Chance Up was a lock for obvious reasons, and the Item Hoarder Kit is always lovely when you want to sling items at everyone with fury.
