The first mission in the Battlefield 6 campaign, ‘Always Faithful,’ puts you in the middle of an attack on a NATO base in Georgia. While your main goal is to survive, many players also like to collect items hidden throughout the level. There are 3 Dog Tags to find in ‘Always Faithful,’ and they’re scattered throughout the mission. The good news is you can find them on any difficulty setting, so if you just want to collect them quickly, you can play the mission on the easiest difficulty, Recruit.
Completing the opening mission and finding all three Dog Tag collectibles will unlock the Dead Center Dog Tag. You can view this reward, and others earned throughout the Battlefield 6 campaign, by pausing during any mission. Go to the Challenges tab at the top of the pause screen and select Campaign Challenges. The rewards become more exciting as you progress, with special character skins becoming available in missions 4, 5, 8, and 9.
Dog Tags are collected by pressing E on PC, X on Xbox, and Square on PlayStation. They glow, which makes them stand out. When you pick one up, it shows the name and birthday of the soldier it belonged to.
Dog Tag 1 – Always Faithful – Battlefield 6
The first Dog Tag in ‘Always Faithful’ is quite simple to locate. Once you’ve gotten away from the first fight in a vehicle, your squad will advance to a ridge marked by a broken wall and a torn red flag waving in the breeze.
Before you finish climbing the stairs to the next guard post, you’ll see some supply crates on your left. The Dog Tag is located on top of those crates.
Players should get the ‘In Memoriam’ Achievement/Trophy for picking up their first collectible.
Dog Tag 2 – Always Faithful – Battlefield 6
Players can find Dog Tag number two once their squad goes inside the data center. After defeating the enemies and setting the first C4 charge on a lower floor, the team needs to head up the stairs.
Once you’ve set the second C4 charge, turn your attention to one of the supporting pillars on the left. The second Dog Tag is located on the other side of that pillar, attached to a board.
Dog Tag 3 – Always Faithful – Battlefield 6
Okay, so after I grabbed the second Dog Tag, my squad and I headed up to the roof. Once we landed, I immediately turned left and walked towards this big, bright orange coffee dispenser sitting on a concrete pad. It’s pretty hard to miss!
