In simpler terms, a Diablo 4 gamer discovered an uncommon item that not only had a legendary enhancement but was worthmore than Super Unique items.
In the game, the treasure is categorized based on rarity with distinct colors as representation. Yellows (Rare) items come with two randomly assigned traits but no additional modifications. On the other hand, Oranges (Legendary) items bring three random perks and one affix. Nevertheless, an unexpected discovery was made when a player found a Yellow chest piece boasting a Legendary attribute.

One player was amazed, exclaiming, “With three suffixes and a changing aspect, this is essentially a Legendary item, just not labeled as such,” while another expressed disbelief, “Such a combination shouldn’t be permissible.”
In the post you mentioned, the chest piece that the OP obtained, besides having the Legendary prefix, was named “Paragon’s Ire” and featured these statistics:
- 26.0% Shadow Resistance
- 4.2% Damage Reduction
- 3.5% Impairment Reduction
In Season 4, gear no longer comes with damage reduction as an inherent perk due to itemization changes. Instead, players must acquire this benefit by enhancing their Paragon Boards.
The user pointed out that the current affix on this item was effective. However, if we try to add a new Legendary affix at the Occultist, the item will transform into a regular Legendary item instead of having two affixes, demonstrating that there’s an issue with this item.
