As a long-time fan of the Assassin’s Creed series, I have to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by some of the handheld titles in this franchise. Growing up, I only had access to console games, so when I got my hands on these portable versions, I wasn’t expecting much.

The popular game series, Assassin’s Creed, has grown to include movies and a forthcoming Netflix show. With nearly 20 titles released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, it might astonish even the most dedicated Assassin’s Creed enthusiasts that some games in this franchise are designed for portable devices as well.

While not all games in the Assassin’s Creed series have significantly advanced gaming technology, some were developed for specific types of gaming devices, like portable consoles. It’s important to note that these portable consoles differ from mobile devices, which run games designed specifically for their operating systems such as Android and iOS.
